Singlespeed Commuter
I got this wacky idea about building a singlespeed commuter bike. I picked up a Redline Monocog Flight frame from Atomic Bikes and have started building it from parts that I had from another bike. My goal is to build this bike under $300.

The bike came with an alloy rigid fork and I have purchased the cranks and the headset.

I had a Kore Elite Stem from a previous bike along with a powertools hi-rise handlebars and a set of platform/spd Shimano pedals . I have a set of wheels that I need to convert to singlespeed, a chain, hydraulic disk brakes and a saddle. I still need a seatpost, chain tensioners, tires and grips.
Stay tuned, I should have this bike ready in a couple of weeks.
