WileyX JP-2 LA specs:

LA™ Lenses - darken on bright sunny days to shield the eyes from harmful Ultra Violet rays. On overcast days or at night the lenses adjust to clear for perfect optical clarity. Now you don’t have to stop to interchange lenses. This new technology is also produced using shatterproof polycarbonate. This is much different than the old photo chromic lens technology that use glass and CR-39, which can shatter if struck by a rock while riding. We’ve also incorporated our new Emerald 4™) anti-reflective coatings to eliminate back-lit glare from the sun or car headlights truly giving the wearer the most functional riding lens available.

I’ve been riding with the Specialized sunglasses for over 9 months; they are very comfortable, light and for the most part, fog-free.
What I liked about them: Cool looks, light adjusting lenses, don’t slip, amber lenses.
What I didn’t about them: Pricey, limited light adjusting range. Lenses don’t get too dark.

I only had the WileyX for less than a week. They are comfortable, not as light as the Specialized, fog-free lenses.
What I liked about them: Didn’t slip, clear lenses, can use them for riding at night, gasket that seal the lenses and transform the sunglasses into goggles.
What I didn’t like about them: Pricey (although I got a decent deal in Ebay), a little heavy, lenses don’t get too dark.

Both sunglasses suit their purpose perfectly. I like the WileyX for low light conditions and night riding. I like the Specialized because of the wrap around frame and the amber tint. Are the Light Adjusting lenses worth paying the premium price? I think so. I don’t have to worry about carrying the extra lenses, scratching them while I try to install them, trying to choose which is the right lens to use. I give both sunglasses an A- because of the price. If I had to choose 1 pair, I’ll go for the WileyX.
