Red Bicyclette Review

Being sidelined due to my knee injury leaves me looking for other stuff to review. Well, the other day that my wife sent me for groceries, I mean, the other day that I ran out of beer, I went to my local market to pick some up. As I was strolling thru the isles looking for those darn feminine napkins, I stumbled upon a bottle of syrah wine called Red Bicyclette. Being an avid cyclist, I couldn’t pass this bottle up. Here’s my review:

My background:
I am 5′7″, 160 lbs. I like to drink Mexican Beer, German Beer, American Beer, Irish Beer, and sometimes, whatever is on sale. I also like to drink Riesling, White and Red Wines from the San Antonio Winery. I’ve been socially drinking since the age of 21, but I’ve never abused alcohol… then again, there were those college years.
Testing Grounds:
My dining room, and sometimes my living room.
Overview: This wine is made in France, you know, the country where an American Cyclist has showed up for the past 7 years and brought home their precious Tour De France trophy.
The good: The wine was somewhat fruity, a little dry for my taste, gave me a decent buzz.
The bad: The morning after.
The ugly: Did I mention that the stickers have to go? Oh, wait, wrong review…
Summary: I did enjoy drinking this wine after I ran out of beer, but I still prefer a Corona any time, any day.
