The Bike Geek

For all of our CbB readers that were following Nick’s transformation of the Xootr Swift, here’s a quick update:

Nick has ditched the ‘grandma style’ saddle and has opted to install a Fuji saddle. The saddle is very slim and it has also shed some weight from the bike.

I also noticed that Nick had added pedals with straps and that those orange grips are rather grimy. My guess is that the FiXootr is getting a New York workout.

Nick’s final installment will be getting rid of the straight handlebars and adding some bullhorn bars. Stay tuned for the last installment!
