Raleigh One Way Update

Testing bikes is one of my favorite things to do. I get to ride different types of bikes like the Raleigh One Way.
The One way is an awesome commuter/utility bike that will appeal to those who love simplicity. There are no gears to fuzz with, and you can also remove the brakes if you wish. Fixed gear not for you? Just flip the wheel and you’ll have a sweet singlespeed.

I’ve also become a fan of Steel bikes. The One Way ride is so smooth in comparison with an aluminum bike. What about weight? Who cares! With a bike that looks and rides this good, weight should not be a concern. After all, this bike is not meant to be ridden in criteriums.
The One Way is loaded with the little extras that make a difference. Extras like fenders:

And of course, a bell so you can tell people that you are coming thru:

I will have a full review of the bike in the coming week or two.

Moe,
You said you would post an updated review on the One Way in a couple of weeks and I was hoping your had further details about the bike.
I have checked with all the Raleigh dealers in my area and none of them plan to stock the bike. Of course they will order one for me. Who buys a bike without trying it?!? Do you know of a bike shop in the Southern CA area that has a One Way in stock that one could view/ride. I live in the Inland Empire area if that helps.

The review will be out soon. At this point, I don’t know of any shop that has it in stock. However, if you ever find yourself in the Whittier, La Habra, La Mirada area, I will be more than happy to lend you the bike for a test ride.
