I’m testing the new revolutionary NuVinci Hub for my other site, www.bikecommuters.com.

Hi, my first impressions with NuVinci are the same (smooth), but in good old flat Holland the weight of the hub is not a problem at all.

I would be interested to see how interest/desire for the NuVinci tracks with people (who drive) driving manual/automatic transmissions. I have zero interest in a self-shifting bike and would never drive an automatic transmission, I prefer to have control over my gearing. I wonder if there is a trend of feelings in others.

You really don’t understand the Nuvinci, Joel. It doesn’t shift itself. It’s a manual transmission, only without a fixed number of “speeds.”
