BikeCommuters profiles Bike Snob NYC

Here’s an excerpt from his commuter profile:

We’ve tried injecting some humor into various posts here on Bikecommuters.com, but it is VERY hard to do successfully. How do YOU keep it fresh and humorous 5 days a week?

Uh, you guys can offer me all the panniers, pant cuff retainers, and blinky LEDs you want–I’m not giving […]

Le Tour De Tryptophan: 24 Hours of Fullerton

Somehow, RL convinced me to join him and Lance and ride the “24 Hours of Fullerton” at the Fullerton Loop. I’ve always been intrigued by endurance races, but to do a 24 Hour ride solo, it wasn’t part of my cycling goals. The race/ride is supposed to be ‘underground’, but it has been gaining popularity. Spray some brake cleaner on […]

My new ride: KHS Alite Team

I’ve never been a fan of hardtail bikes, but when the prospect of racing came up, I decided to build a super light race bike. I began with a KHS Team Alite frame:

The frame is so light, that my 7 yr old can easily hold it

I added a Vuelta USA wheelset, these rims are light, […]

Bicycle Bash By the Bay: A success.

Our fellow commuter and East coast www.bikecommuters.com editor, Jack Sweeney has posted his ‘Bicycle Bash by the Bay’ report.
You may recall that RL and I attended the Urban Commuter Bicycle Expo back in May. Not only is www.bikecommuters.com a great resource of news, reviews, tips and articles, we are also involved in our communities trying […]
