Good stuff.

I know that a site has a wide variety of such products

http://www.sourcingmap.com/ipod-speakers-c-983_1196.html

um.. actually i never use these, the point is choose a right headphone, the headphones are best appreciated alone. but these speakers are ideal for social settings where you want to share your tunes with a few others or when you're milling around your hotel room getting ready for a night out on the town.

Why use headphones? Most mobile phones can play mp3 files loud enough to hear via their external speaker. You can quickly load mp3 files on a Micro SD card ($20.00) On my commute and road ride I attach my mobile phone to this water bottle. http://gadgetbottle.com

I've been using this speaker for a few months, and also highly recommend it, particularly for commuters. I've posted a review of it at http://blog.greaterbayshell.com/2007/11/15/next-review-ihome-ih85b-ipod-speaker-for-bicycles/

This just reminds me of those Harley Davidson motorcycles that have the stereos on them. It all seems kinda dumb to me. Don't get me wrong though. I love my I pod and I love mountain biking but I don't like them together. I like to hear the sound of my tires on the trail and the calm of the woods. Plus I don't want to carry the extra stuff.
