RL and I headed to Turnbull Canyon this past Saturday. TBC is one of my favorite places to ride since it is really close to my house and there are trails galore. One of the reasons that I like riding with RL is that we both ride at the same pace and we just like to have fun.
Check out the video we made:
It has been a long time since I update this site, but I’ve been really busy with BikeCommuters.com. Last month we attended the 2008 Urban Bike Commuter Expo, Long Beach Cyclists Bike to Work day and I rode the 2008 City Of Angels Ride.

The City of Angels ride was fun as usual, however, something weird happened, even though we were riding at about 18 mph, we got cut off by the our Police Escort and we were left to ride on our own. Fortunately one of the ride Marshalls had a map and we were able to get back on track. We got a little peeved that we were dropped without any warning, how hard can it be to tell us to hurry up and catch up to the front? Anyhow, I met Henry Hsieh and his girlfriend and rode along with them, they are super cool to ride with.

The 2008 Urban Bike commuter expo was a hot one, and I don’t mean like sexy hot, it got to 102 degrees that day. However, we managed to get our name out there and met a lot of cool people that believe on the same cause as we do. However, the best part of the expo was me winning the Grand Prize of the raffle. I converted my DiamondBack Transporter to the ultimate grocery getter, here’s a picture of it:

I also been riding my Bianchi Via Nirone 7, the bike is awesome in the flats and last Saturday I took it to Turnbull Canyon to feel how good it climbs and how fast it descends. I was not disappointed. I really love this bike.

That’s if for now, I will try to update this site more often, but in case you miss me, you can always find me at www.bikecommuters.com and www.mtnbikeriders.com
